With recent events in mind, including the tragic murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and countless unseen others, the men of Sigma Phi Epsilon New York Delta stand in solidarity with our brothers and sisters who have stood up against these injustices witnessed here and around the country. We believe it is important to speak up as a brotherhood and condemn racism and discrimination in all forms, and we pledge to actively work towards improving awareness and education around these issues in an effort to end systemic racism.
We stand in pursuit of one of our three cardinal principles, Brotherly Love, and extend that love to all our brothers and sisters of color inside and outside of our chapter, especially those in the Black community. We are attaching this link tree leading to different methods of actively supporting the Black Lives Matter movement and intentionally creating a more inclusive and equitable world, as a start to taking more meaningful actions against racism.
